Bereits 2001 sanierte HiPP das Gebäude 16/17 energetisch und leistet dadurch einen wichtigen Beitrag zum Klimaschutz.

Neue Fenster, neue Türen und die Fassadendämmung verhindern Wärmeverluste. Außerdem verbrauchte der Gebäudekomplex nach der Sanierung 87.000 Liter weniger Heizöl pro Jahr. Kurz nach dem Umbau stellte HiPP die meisten Gebäude am Standort Pfaffenhofen auf Fernwärme aus dem Pfaffenhofener Biomasse-Heizkraftwerk um. Somit heizen wir in diesen Gebäuden annähernd klimaneutral.

Already in 2001, HiPP renovated building 16/17 to become more energy efficient, thus making an important contribution to climate protection.

New windows, doors and facade insulation prevent heat loss. Following these renovations, the building complex also uses 87,000 litres less heating oil per year. Shortly after completion of the renovation, HiPP connected most of the buildings at the Pfaffenhofen site to district heating from the Pfaffenhofen biomass cogeneration plant. This way, we can heat all buildings in an almost climate neutral way.
